Recticel opens new factory in Mäntsälä

Belgian company Recticel’s insulation division has today opened its new polyurethane (PIR) boards factory in the Finnish municipality of Mäntsälä. The approximately 26 million-euro investment will bring a significant employment and wellbeing boost to the region. The Belgian company looks to expand from Finland to the thermal insulation markets in the Nordics, Baltics and St. Petersburg amid tightening regulations that favour the qualities of PIR boards.

The Invest in Finland division of Business Finland and Invest in Mäntsälä were closely involved in bringing the new factory to Finland.
